Jessica Cisneros for Congress
As a web and graphic design volunteer with Justice Democrats, I was asked to assist with the launch of Jessica Cisneros’ 2022 campaign for Texas’ 28th Congressional District. In this capacity, I was one of the primary leads in helping to develop both the campaign’s website and digital tools. I coded an Action Network page wrapper that kept the campaign’s petitions, forms, and events consistent with brand guidelines. After Jessica’s launch, I helped design numerous concept graphics such as palm cards and event graphics for Action Network/Mobilize.
Palm Card Concept
I designed this concept shortly after the launch of Jessica’s campaign. For this design, I sought to use color and space to organize information in a concise way that encourages voters to learn more about Jessica’s campaign. Part of this design was inspired by loteria cards common in Latine culture, and sought to fuse iconography from Jessica’s campaign with a familiar format.
Event Graphics
Following the launch of Jessica’s campaign, I continued to volunteer with graphic design, helping to create concept graphics for Action Network and Mobilize event cards. I tried to create graphics that the campaign could use as default event images on platforms like Mobilize in order to maintain brand consistency. I was also tasked on occasion with designing event-specific graphics like the one below for the campaign’s national phonebank launch.
