Summer Lee For Congress
Through my role as a web and graphic design volunteer with Justice Democrats, I was one of a few select volunteers asked to assist with Summer Lee’s campaign launch in late 2021. In this capacity, I assisted with the development of Summer’s website and created concept graphics to shape Summer’s brand guidelines. I also coded a custom Action Network page wrapper for the campaign to use for forms, petitions, and events. I continued to volunteer with the campaign post-launch, working to maintain and update Summer’s website and the creation of a prospectus for the campaign.
Launch Day Social Graphics
In the run-up to the launch of Summer’s campaign, I created these concept graphics to propose a potential direction for the campaign’s branding. I sought to juxtapose the bright colors and emphasis of the titles with softer gradients and less emphasis on body text.
Prospectus Design
I was asked to design a prospectus for Summer’s campaign. Using Adobe Illustrator, I created a version of the prospectus in line with brand guidelines with a quick turnaround. The prospectus prioritized legibility and emphasis, using clear sectioning to sort and separate content for the reader.
